A high-resolution, detailed photograph capturing a complex, visceral biomechanical sculpture and human subject within a contemporary art gallery setting. The central figure is a large, elaborate sculpture constructed from exposed anatomical textures, deep red meat, bone, and intricate wiring, featuring multiple multi-jointed human heads and torsos with agape, screaming mouths, suspended and framed by white PVC piping and supports. The sculpture rests on a distressed white plinth with wheels. Standing next to it is a underground humanoid cannibal wearing a light blue face mask, a black long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans, and grey sneakers. In the foreground, another sculpture covered in a white cloth is visible. The gallery walls are mint green, and a large, framed classical painting is on the wall behind the sculpture. The scene has even, diffused lighting that highlights every extreme detail and texture, making the gore and materials look palpably real."

Chapter 1— A Messed Up Mess
“Eww,” Emily said smirking, “I just stepped on a unfinished yogurt cup!” “You’d better watch out where you’re walking,” Kyle laughed. BAM! “Ouch.” Kyle mumbled. “You okay Kyle?”, Owen reached out to pull Kyle up. “Yup. I’m fi…” Emily and Lacey burst out laughing. “You’d better watch out where you are walking!”, Lacey snorted, “And don’t forget not to slip on Mr. Grudge’s banana peels!” Kyle scowled at them, rubbing his sore elbow. “Don’t worry Kyle,” Mattias whispered to Kyle, putting his arm around Kyle’s shoulders, “They’ll stop it after a while.” It was summer break for Kyle and his friends tomorrow, and they were walking back home from school. “I have a feeling that we need to do something about all these trash,” Owen suddenly said. “Yeah,” Mattias continued, “Hey guys why don’t we start cleaning up these trash tomorrow, at least we don’t have school.” Lacey asked Emily, “ We will work together to clean Calverstream Street, won’t we, Emily?” “Of course!” Emily retorted. Just then, Kyle suddenly took off running, “Meet you at Calverstream Street at 8 am tomorrow!” he yelled.

The image depicts a grim and disturbing scene, possibly an outdoor butcher's area or a macabre setup in a derelict location. The overall color palette is dominated by muted browns, grays, and reds, with a significant presence of what appears to be blood and gore.

In the upper portion of the image, a person wearing a blood-stained red apron is standing and appears to be working on something on a table. Their arms are muscular, and their hair is dark and styled up. The table itself is covered with what looks like raw meat and several clear plastic bags containing more of these items.

Below the table, in the lower part of the frame, are two figures. The one on the left is a female form, seated and appearing to be made of flesh, covered in blood and some kind of fibrous material, possibly hair or fabric. Her head is tilted back. To the right of her is another figure, also appearing to be flesh and blood, crouched low. This figure has a more defined face with glasses. Both figures are unsettling and appear to be part of the overall scene of dismemberment or processing.

The background is a crumbling brick wall, suggesting a dilapidated urban environment. There is a dirty window with reflections on the right side. The ground is littered with debris, including plastic bags, scraps of material, and what looks like discarded food items. Two large trash bins are visible on the sides, one brown on the left and a green one on the right, the latter overflowing with corn cobs and other contents.

The composition is vertically oriented, with the standing figure and the table forming the upper half, and the seated figures and the ground clutter occupying the lower half. The lighting is somewhat harsh and uneven, contributing to the unsettling atmosphere. The image has a gritty, low-resolution texture, which adds to its raw and disturbing nature.

german expressionism city with an exagerated architexture and distorted lines with a dark tone

a grotesquely surreal tableau—an abandoned slaughterhouse repurposed into a deranged satanic banquet hall, where the concrete floor is slick with blood and strewn with rotting trash, discarded meat hooks dangling from rusted chains overhead. A skeletal priest in tattered vestments presides over a macabre feast, his hollow eyes glowing red as he raises a goblet filled with thick, black ichor, while around him, mutated revelers in tuxedos and gore-smeared evening gowns tear into human limbs arranged on silver platters like fine cuisine. Hazmat-suited figures loom in the shadows, their gas masks reflecting the flickering candlelight from upside-down crucifixes, their gloved hands clutching syringes dripping an unknown fluid. The walls pulse with fleshy, veined growths, and in the far corner, a still-twitching pile of flayed bodies writhes in unholy communion, their mouths sewn shut with barbed wire—a masterpiece of visceral body horror where decay and decadence collide.

a grotesque, photorealistic dive bar frozen in time—peeling wallpaper stained with decades of smoke and spilled liquor, broken furniture piled like carcasses in the corners, a single flickering bulb casting jaundiced light. Front and center, a nightmare scarecrow slouches on a stool, its burlap face split by a stitched grin, cornstalk fingers wrapped around a bottle of Jack Daniels, tendrils of hay spilling from its rotting chest cavity where whiskey drips into exposed ribs. Beside it, three 1950s-era hazmat suits—faded yellow rubber, cracked visors fogged with condensation—lean drunkenly against the bar, gloved hands clutching martini glasses filled with neon-green sludge. A hunchbacked goblin with pustular skin and jagged teeth perches on a keg, chugging a foaming beer that spills down its chin onto a taxidermied rat hanging from its necklace. Towering over them all, a corroded bronze statue of Satan rises from the debris, one hoof resting on a toppled jukebox, its leering face tilted as if amused by the decay. A highly detailed, photorealistic biomechanical alien spaceship floating in deep space. The ship is a grotesque, asymmetrical fusion of organic and mechanical parts. Its outer hull features weathered, pale greyish-green chitinous armor plating reminiscent of a giant insect shell, interspersed with exposed, glistening wet red muscles, veins, and gore. Intricate dark metallic cables, segmented robotic joints, and sharp metal spikes weave intricately through the raw flesh. The hull is studded with multiple large, glowing, translucent azure blue dome-like eyes. Near the upper right, a secondary cluster of smaller, glowing yellow and blue robotic eyes emerges from the bloody tissue. At the base is a circular, ribbed, toothy maw with dangling dark red, fleshy biomechanical tentacles and wires extending downward. The background is a breathtaking cosmic vista with vibrant purple and emerald green nebulas, stars, and floating rock debris. Can you make images of higher quality?

Yes, we are constantly working on improving image quality. Make sure to use the "Upscale" option when there is an image you like to get a higher resolution. You can always try to do it multiple times but it should not affect much the result and will remain at the same resolution.

Negative words? What are those?

Is there anything you definitely DON’T want to see in your AI generated art? Like an awkward hat on your drawing of Mozart painted by Van Gogh? No problem. In the “Negative Word” section, simply type out concepts you’d like Craion AI to avoid, like “hat”, or “crocs”. 😆

You can also influence color, light of your AI images by adding the words you do not want to the negative words.

You can find more details of an earlier model in W&B Project Report and the DALL·E mini model card.

Are there biases or limitations in AI generated art?

By nature, AI isn’t bias. However, seeing as it learns through humans, it could be exposed to societal prejudices and harmful stereotypes and integrate these into its images. Limitations and bias in AI are still being researched and are yet to be fully documented, which you can learn more about in the DALL-E mini model car
